To facilitate dialogue with financial institutions and provide more information about available financial tools, TRAFFIC will welcome key sector representatives. These contacts will explain the range of fashion business programs and be available for discussions with fashion professionals.

According to Priscilla Jokhoo, Fédération Business Services Division Director and trade show manager, 'Business managers' requests often concern three main areas: optimising a business model, and strategies for retail and financing. For the last topic, we know that many banking institutions have negative opinions about fashion businesses, believing the sector is in bad shape. But that's not the case. Over the last 10 years, the business profiles the Fédération helps have really changed. Today's businesses are dynamic and creative with healthy growth'. So it's essential to encourage dialogue with financial institutions. In fact, in recent years, many banks have revised the way they respond to entrepreneurs by setting up business centres. Their representatives have changed and adapted a more professional approach. As for entrepreneurs, they often take a 'consumer' attitude to financial products and overlook certain services for lack of time or information.

Today the Fédération has established close relationships with several institutions. Key contacts from these groups will be at the TRAFFIC trade show to explain the range of financial tools for fashion businesses, no matter what size. These professionals will be available to answer entrepreneurs' questions, and the trade show will also provide additional information about financial tools.

HSBC, CIC, IFCIC, BPI, investment fund companies ... are just some of the groups who will attend TRAFFIC.
