Apparel exports are up 3 percent. The EU-28 is the world's top apparel market with €314 billion in 2014*. Outside of the EU, the leading trio of China/Hong Kong, the United States, and Japan are well known key markets, but they're still sometimes difficult to enter.

According to Patricia Brafman, International Director for the Fédération Française du Prêt à Porter Féminin, 'It takes time and investment to assess the potential of a specific market, evaluate its consumption, and analyze the different kinds of existing retail. You have to know how to set up networks and identify the right partners. And this is true for both mature and emerging markets. The international chess board is always shifting'.

The export market situation has considerably evolved over the past few years. To succeed in selling a product, attracting foreign consumers, and adapting to their expectations, it's important to get the best advice possible. The trade show's Export zone will meet these needs by bringing together the leading players in the public and private sectors to create synergy and, in a concrete and pragmatic way, address the complex international challenges today's fashion businesses face.

Trade show participants (list as of 15 June 2015): August & Debouzy, FDI, HSBC, My Fashion Agent, CREFOVI, BPI, Business France Germany, Business France Belgium, Business France China, Business France Spain, Business France United States and Canada, Business France Export, Business France Russia, Business France Scandinavians Countries, CCI France International, CCI France Japon, CCI Paris, Chambre Française de Commerce à Singapour, Chambre Française de Commerce et d'Industrie à Hong Kong, Chambre Française de Commerce et d'Industrie de Dubaï & des Emirats Du Nord, Chambre Française de Grande Bretagne, Chambre Franco-Coréenne de Commerce et d'Industrie, Fédération Française du Prêt à Porter Féminin, and others.
